Movie Night Series News Report from Eric Glauber on Vimeo.

Our Media News report was on SUNY New Paltz's Movie Night Series. The Center for student development hosted several movie showings this semester and we got the scoop on the whole series.

Filming between the two of us was straight forward. Eric was in charge of the filming and I was in charge of audio and asking interview questions.

The B-roll was a compilation of both our talents.

The voice over we decided to scrap the Zoom recorders and use legitimate equipment. Thanks to WFNP the campus radio station we were able to record with their professional mics in a sound proof room. Notice how almost spotless the sound in the middle of the video is.

For the opening and ending of our video we were not so lucky as to have a sound proof room. Although the quality of the Zoom is surprisingly great for such a small recording device it couldn't really compensate for the echo in the room where we were filming.

From the opening to the end of the Les Mes trailer was primarily Georgia's work and from there to the end was Eric's handy work. Georgia worked mostly on fading in and out between the trailers and Eric worked mostly with making the interviews seem less dry with effects and B-roll.

Another Thanks goes out to SWANK Motion Pictures and Tara Sestanovich for hooking us up with the footage from the trailers for each of the films showcased.

Thanks to Andrea Nandoo, Emma Wenig, Dana Weintraub, and Tara Sestanovich for letting us interview them.

Overall it was a fun opportunity to get to see these movies and delve deeper into this program.
